Who is the trusted issuer?
Initially we partner with Persona + Yoti + iProov for the underlying KYC. The attestation layer (the portable credential) is operated by an independent foundation we're spinning out — neutral, audited, not owned by any single platform.
What if the creator's KYC expires?
Standard KYC validity is 12-24mo depending on jurisdiction. The attestation embeds expiry. Platforms can require re-attestation; the creator re-KYCs once and all platforms see the new credential.
How does GDPR right-to-be-forgotten work?
Creator can revoke any attestation. Once revoked, no platform can verify against it. Original KYC data stored at issuer with standard GDPR controls — never on participating platforms.
Will processors (CCBill, Verotel) accept this?
Both processors we've spoken to are interested. The pitch: 1 attestation issued by Persona is more auditable than 12 platforms each storing their own KYC scans. We expect CCBill TOS update Q2 2027.
Pricing after early-access?
Per-platform: $50/mo + $0.50 per attestation verification. Volume discounts at 10K+ verifications/mo. Free tier: 100 verifications/mo for indie platforms.
