EU DSA Compliance

EU DSA Article 22 trusted-flagger response
24-hour SLA · transparency report automation · DSA Article 24

EU DSA Article 22 forces every "very large online platform" (and most adult platforms with EU traffic) to respond to trusted-flagger notifications within 24 hours. Article 24 demands annual transparency reports. Our SaaS automates both — ingest the trusted-flagger feed, route notices to the right operator, decision within SLA, and auto-generate the Article 24 PDF every January.

The Problem

Why EU DSA compliance is harder than it looks

DSA is in force since February 2024. Adult platforms with EU users (you almost certainly do) are on the hook for Articles 14 (terms-of-service), 16 (notice-and-action), 22 (trusted flaggers), 24 (transparency reports), and 28 (child protection). Missing any one is up to 6% of global turnover. Most platforms have implemented Article 16 and ignored the rest.

Article 22 SLANo tracking → silent misses → finesInbox + queue with 24h SLA timer + escalation
Article 24 reportManual collation of every action taken — days of workAuto-generated from your action log; PDF + JSON + XML
Trusted-flagger registryEach member-state has its own list — driftWe sync the union of 27 lists daily; verify signing keys

How it works

How the DSA stack works

📥
Trusted-flagger inbox
Receives Article 22 notices via the DSA Transparency Database webhook. Validates the flagger's signing key against the live registry. Routes to your moderation queue with full context.
⏱️
24-hour SLA timer
Each notice tracked with a hard deadline. Operator sees 'expires in 4h 12m' on every open notice. Escalation chain (lead moderator → manager → legal) if approaching SLA breach.
📊
Article 24 auto-report
We log every action (removal, restriction, warning, no-action) with rationale. End of year: click 'Generate', get a DSA-compliant transparency report PDF + machine-readable JSON. Audit-ready.
🌍
Multi-lang translate layer
Notices translated to your operator's language; decisions translated back to the flagger's language. Operator never sees a notice they can't read.

FAQ

Common questions

Are we really subject to DSA?
If you have any users in the EU (you do), yes. The size thresholds for 'VLOP' (very large platform) don't gate compliance — they gate intensity. Even small adult platforms must comply with Articles 14, 16, 22, 24 in full.
What's a trusted flagger?
An entity designated by an EU member state under Article 22 (e.g. INHOPE network, CSAM hotlines, IP-rights holders). Their notices get priority handling — 24-hour SLA — and operators must demonstrate timely response in the annual report.
What if a trusted flagger is wrong?
You can decline the request with documented rationale. We log the decision + rationale; the flagger can appeal via the member-state regulator. False-positive rate is tracked per-flagger — repeat false flaggers can be challenged.
Pricing?
$499/mo Standard (up to 10K monthly notices), $1499/mo Pro (unlimited + Article 24 auto-report + 5 EU languages), $4999/mo Enterprise (private SLA + on-call DSA counsel + all 24 EU languages).
Does this also cover the Digital Markets Act (DMA)?
DMA gates on 'gatekeeper' designation — almost no adult platform qualifies. We don't include DMA tooling at base; available as a bolt-on for platforms that get designated.
