Glossary: AI + Adult Industry

25 terms that come up when you discuss AI for escort agencies, independent providers, and adult platforms.

Persona AI
A chatbot trained to sound like a specific provider — same tone, rules, rates. Different from a generic chatbot. Used in solo websites and agency booking.
Hand-off
When the AI bot stops handling a conversation and routes it to a human. Triggers: unclear intent, high-value booking, safety concern, complaint.
Screening
Verifying a new client identity, intent, and risk before accepting a booking. Manual screening = 20-40 min. AI screening = 90 sec.
P411 / Date-Check
Two major US screening services. P411 = membership reference network. Date-Check = paid client verification.
ID&V (Identity & Verification)
Confirming a person is who they claim. AI ID&V: face match, OCR on government ID, social trace.
NSFW (Not Safe For Work)
Explicit content. NSFW-aware LLM = a model fine-tuned to engage with explicit topics instead of refusing.
Audit log
Full record of every AI action. Required for payment processor disputes.
Discreet billing
Payment shows neutral merchant name on the card statement. Standard for adult-industry merchants.
Rate limiting
Limiting AI requests per user / minute. Without it, an unattended bot can rack up $10K+ in API charges overnight.
Lead nurture
Automated email / SMS sequence that re-engages a visitor. See AI marketing for agencies.
Cross-promo
Promoting one revenue stream (OF) from another (agency site) without breaking identity walls.
Repeat-client memory
The chatbot recognizes returning clients and skips re-screening.
Risk score
0-100 number summarizing risk of a new client. Combines blacklist hits, social trace, language patterns.
HUM (Human-in-the-loop)
Workflow where AI does most of the work but a human approves before any action that matters.
Safety call timer
Automated check-in during a session. If the provider does not respond, a trusted contact gets notified.
Blacklist
A list of known bad-actor clients shared across providers and agencies.
2257 records
US law (18 USC §2257) requires producers of explicit content to verify and keep records that all performers are 18+.
RTA (Restricted To Adults)
Voluntary website label allowing parental filtering software to block the site.
Age gate
Mandatory "I am 18+" confirmation. AI can enforce hard age gating (face age, ID upload).
AVPA (Age Verification Providers Association)
UK industry group covering compliant age verification vendors. Required for UK Online Safety Act.
CSAM
Child Sexual Abuse Material. Mandatory detection (NCMEC PhotoDNA, AI vision). Zero tolerance, criminal liability.
Merchant of record
Whoever name appears on the client card statement and is legally on the hook for chargebacks.
Chargeback
When a client disputes a payment. Adult-industry rates are 1.5-3% (vs 0.5% in regular ecommerce).
KYC-light
Lighter version of bank-grade Know-Your-Customer — enough to verify the client is real and not a known bad actor.
Deepfake detection
AI model that identifies if a submitted photo or video is AI-generated. Used to block fake client profiles.
